Mac is for Apple Silicon. After you drag it to Applications, right-click the app and choose Open. On Linux, make the AppImage executable, then run it.
Report a problem
In the app, use Send feedback. Newer versions send it to TakeoffPal in one click. Report, and older versions, save a file on your computer instead. Email that file to Tim with a screenshot and what you did just before the problem.
